Terms, in plain words

• Be kind. Don’t use this to spam, harass, scrape or collect data about people who didn’t ask for it.
• You own what you add. You give us permission to store it and show it the way you choose (public, groups or private).
• The consumer product is free and comes as-is. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe. Brand and team tools on the hosted app are separate products brands or companies pay us for; that never means we sell your personal data.
• Birthday treats are optional and off until you opt in. Brands don’t receive your email or birth date through that feature.
• You can leave any time: export, then delete your account (7-day grace).
• Self-hosted servers are run by their owners, not us. Federation between servers follows the open protocol; each server’s operator is responsible for their instance.
• Don’t break the law, don’t try to break the product, and don’t create accounts to evade a suspension.
